Please read the below in it's entirety, as some information has changed.

You MUST have a completed Athletic Clearance Packet on file for this year, including a sports physical, dated May 1, 2018 or later, in order to begin practicing. 

OPEN TO:

  • 7th and 8th grade boys and girls at KAMS
  • 3rd-8th grade boys and girls at KAMS feeder elementary schools (Adreani, Batey, Cosumnes River, Dillard, McGarvey, Pleasant Grove, Sierra Enterprise, Sunrise) - Must have same Athletic Clearance Packet.

 

PRACTICES

  • Gym, unless otherwise noted
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3:15-4:45pm

 

MEETS

  • Dual Meets - middle school wrestlers only (elementary wrestlers welcome to cheer on teammates)
  • Round 1 begins at 4:30pm, Round 2 immediately following at approxiately 5:30pm
  • All middle school wrestlers expected to attend all dual meets in their entirety.

Tournaments - elementary and middle school wrestlers

  • Weekend tournament dates and times TBA

GEAR

  • Please arrive at practice wearing athletic gear, NO POCKETS, and wrestling shoes.
  • Please bring water.
  • Please bring a small towel.
  • Head Gear is required. You may check out a set from us or purchase your own.
  • Mouthguard is highly recommended.
  • More information regarding specific gear requirements will be discussed at the student meeting, as well as, at the parent/student meetings.

- Thursday, December 13 at Kerr v. Kerr, Pinkerton
- Tuesday, December 18 at Albiani v. Smedberg, Rutter
- Thursday, January 24 at Eddy v. Eddy, Smedberg
- Tuesday, February 7 at Toby v. Jackman, Toby

EGUSD Championship (Middle School Wrestlers Only)
- TBD

Admission to all Dual and EGUSD Championship Meets
- $3 adults
- $1 students with ID cards
- Meets at KAMS are free for KAMS students with ASB sticker
- KAMS students MUST have ID card for entry into meets at KAMS

Transportation Note: It is the responsibility of each family to transport their own student-athlete to and from all away games.  If you would like to drive children, other than your own, please see Athletic Directors, Kristen Couchot or Traci Seto, for details on clearance.
